Pylon is proud to partner with Solar Training Centre to help train students in solar design.

Solar Training Centre is an award-winning Registered Training Organisation that helps solar installers become qualified solar & battery installers in Australia. Many electricians looking to become CEC-accredited solar professionals choose Solar Training Centre because of their multiple locations, comprehensive curriculum, and friendly teaching staff.

Solar Training Centre’s design course is a short 5-day face to face + online course that takes you through the fundamentals of designing and installing PV systems. The course is open to Australians who hold an A-grade (full) electrical license.

Electrical and Electronic Engineers can complete this course and receive a Certificate of Completion which is accepted by the Clean Energy Council for an application as a provisional CEC Accredited Designer.

The course varies in price depending on your location – Electricians in Queensland and South Australia can benefit from CSQ/ CITB funding for their courses - but we have found Solar Training Centre to have reasonable prices and provide considerable value to solar installers.
