November 2024 Update
Counter-signed Proposals
As customers are buying larger batteries, many battery systems are now costing over $20,000.
In NSW, Australia building work over $20,000 means that the contractor must have Home Building Compensation Fund (HBCF) insurance.
Licensed contractors that take on residential work over $20,000 need insurance cover through HBCF. They must obtain this cover before starting any work or taking any money under the contract, including the deposits.
To stay aligned with HBCF requirements, we have added the new feature to have your Proposals be counter-signed by yourself as the company.
When pricing up your system, be sure to also include the insurance Premium to the cost of your system.
