Use Design Labels as Proposal Titles

Solar can be a complex topic for many customers.

To improve clarity and understanding, you now have the option to use the Design Titles as the Proposal Title. This feature gives you more control to help your customers clearly see the structure and components of the package.

This change will also be coming soon to Comparison Pages.

Stacked Pricing Model

Whether you start in residential solar and branch into commercial, or vice-versa, setting up a unified pricing system is always challenging.

Our new Stacked Pricing Model feature lets you set tiered pricing based on line item multipliers.

For instance, you can now define

• a base installation cost of $1,000, and then
• add an Install cost tier at 50¢ per watt for projects up to 10kW,
• and an additional tier at 45¢ per watt for projects between 10kW and 30kW.

This flexible pricing model ensures accurate and scalable cost calculations for every project.

Other use-cases

This system can also encompass other scenarios such as

• double-storey charges
• 3-phase meter upgrades

Calendar Event Templates

When running your solar business, you’re often setting similar events with your customers. Whether it be a Site Inspections or an Installation Day, the descriptions of these Calendar Events can often be templated.

To help streamline this process, you can now set Calendar Event Templates. Templates are fully customisable and come ready with Template Variables such as, {{customer_name}}, {{customer_phone}}, {{customer_address}}, etc.

Closest Company Office

You can now add multiple office addresses to your Company. And Pylon will automatically select the office address based on:

1. Closest geographic address within the same state/province.
2. Closest geographic address within the same country.
3. Default Primary Company Office.

in that order.

Fixed Deposits for Payment Milestones

Taking a percentage based deposit from customers isn’t always a one-size-fits-all solution. Pylon now allows you to set fixed amounts for your Payment Milestones, whilst also applying a maximum percentage value to make sure that we’re staying within legal limits.

• Design snapshots are now faster and can handle much larger projects
• Added 60 minute interval data format support
• Added additional confirmation step when bulk-assigning Leads in the CRM
• Pylon will now validate the mobile number before attempting to send an SMS

• Invoices sent to Xero will now include PRCs when applicable
• Added kW and kWh as Line Item Multiplier options

• Fixed a bug where pasting URLs into email template links won’t replace the link URL
• Fixed a bug where high-resolution imagery would appear during project creation under certain conditions
• Fixed a bug where Tasks were limited to 50 viewable at any one time
• Fixed a bug where pasting a URL over an existing URL did not update the URL
• Fixed a bug where the imagery from your previous project appeared in new searches
• Fixed a bug where saving the finance deposit reset the borrowed amount
