Our Grid Connect Design course is a theory course that will provide participants with the skills and knowledge to plan, configure and design alterative power systems, up to 30kW to be connected to the power grid. As designers, you can ensure your customers will maximise the production output of the solar system. It is clear that there’s growing interest in battery storage systems and the forecasts show that demand will grow rapidly as the cost of such systems comes down, driven by competition and technology.

The Grid Connected PV with Battery Storage short course provides nationally accredited training for electricians in the installation of grid-connected PV battery storage systems.
The course provides the accredited training required to apply for the Clean Energy Council Battery Storage Endorsement.
This course blends online learning with practical face-to-face on-campus workshops. Students are required to complete online study and attend a series of on-campus practical workshop sessions. The online study and on-campus sessions are delivered in parallel, by one course instructor.

Through the Course in New Energy Technology Systems, you will develop skills to work in battery storage installation.
Holmesglen is part of a pilot program to roll out this new course, which incorporates a range of new course resources including short videos to support your training to help you retain and understand the information and see it applied in the appropriate context.
This is a nationally accredited qualification developed by industry in response to the upcoming demand for residential solar battery installations by consumers. The course is restricted to licensed electricians and places are limited.
